The top two teams play for the championship as the Unicorns take on the Demogorgons. The Gorgons have had difficulties against the Unicorns all season, but they show flashes of greatness and defensive/goaltending prowess that can be enough to stifle the Unis.
The Unicorns came out of the gate slow and sluggish against the Chupacabras last week. Though they were able to rebound, a similar slow start could be troublesome for the Unicorns. A strong offensive start is what is needed for the Unicorns so they can relax and play their game.
The Demogorgons looked like they struggled against the Krakens last week, but their smothering defense kept them in the game long enough to pull them through with the ‘W’. A little tighter on defense and connecting with their offensive chances could give the Gorgons a win tonight.
Players to Watch
This Unicorns are going to rely heavily on their entire offensive unit. Breaking through the Gorgons defense and then taking shots on Gorogn goalie Felipe Rodriguez is a tall challenge.
Similarly, the Gorgons need their defense and goalie to show up and play strong. An A+ effort is going to be needed from both if they hope to skate away with the title.
