Winter Season Champions: Miller’s High Life
San Antonio Iguanas, the mens roller hockey team, competed this past weekend in Kyle, Texas playing in the “Battle of Texas Roller Hockey”. The Iguanas were able to post 5 straight wins stretching from Saturday night into championship sunday to earn the title of Champions of the Kyle Cup. This event featured teams from Austin, Kyle, McAllen, RGV, Denton and many others. Find more here: Kyle Roller Hockey
1/30 SARHL Update
As January comes to a close, week 4 games are set for this Sunday night at 8pm & 9pm CST here in the heart of Texas.

“Very Tight Games”
– The DOHO in the wednesday night media hour at Fairchild
8PM Game saw the Busch Lite Boys win in a shootout over the Neato Banditios for a final score of 9 to 8. Young Jake Hernandez of the BLB was the lone scorer in the tiebreaking shootout rounds.
9PM – Team NB had Brian VV score 2 goals for the early lead, however SA Local Legend D-Lo scored 2 goals and Gary Burdge added the winning tally to help the Miller high life’s edge out the Neato banditos in a very close game.
1/23 Sunday Night
Step away from football and come on down to the SARHL for Sunday Night league action. Tonight’s action features Captain Minerd and the Neato Banditios playing the double header for this week. They will be taking on the Busch Lite Boys at 8pm followed by the Miller High Lifes at 9pm.

Welcome back to the SARHL!
Week 2 games start at 8pm and continue at 9pm. If you are a part-time player please contact the DOHO if you are available to play. The team this week that will play the double header are the Miller High Lifes led by captain Gary Burdge.

Highlights from Week 1
8pm: BLB 4 lost to MHL 6

Opening Night of the 2022 SARHL Season
Tonight starts the first week of games for the winter 2022 season here at the San Antonio Roller Hockey league. The team list and league rules have been updated here. This season the league will be collecting a $20 donation to assist with expenses for pucks and nets, you can Venmo @SARHL or provide a cash donation to the DOHO. If you want to further support the league and look cool like Gary while doing it, check out our merchandise page here for SARHL and Texas Hockey hats, shirts and more. The schedule for the season will remain the same as usual, games start at 8pm on Sunday night in Fairchild park with the second game starting at 9pm. Three teams means that one team will play a double header. For up to date information find us on facebook.
Game 1 starting at 8pm: The home team will be the Bush Lite Boys led by DBran Hastings with Felipe in goal. Taking on the defending champions, the Miller High Lifes, captained by the DOHO Gary Burdge. The High Lifes feature Taylor Newton between the pipes.
HOME: BLB 
AWAY: MHL
Game 2 starting at 9pm: The home team will remain the Bush Lite Boys to complete the double header. The third team of the league led by captain Andrew Minerd will take the rink as their opponent. The Neato Banditios (NB) will have goaltender Ricky Dominguez for the season.
