The San Antonio Roller Hockey League (SARHL) and Learn-To-Play Hockey Nights are played at the Fairchild Recreation Center, a public park within a historical cemetery of the Eastside. We are just ONE of the local organizations that utilize the recreation center multiple times per week. Along with the currently closed down pool, the other sports include Tennis, Squash/Handball, Bike Polo, Soccer, and Lacrosse that are played within the facilities at the recreation center located on E Crockett Street on the Eastside.
Let the government know that you utilize the park and facilities. Explain why downtown SA needs a recreation center for Multi-Sport use and how the facility will have positive impacts to the community and help the Planners achieve their vision and goals for the Eastside Community. The public draft of the Eastside Community Area Plan is available for review and comment. Comments are due by Sunday, October 16, 2022.
